With New Zealand’s dramatic landscapes and unique Maori culture, Wild Kiwi was created to provide visitors and kiwi’s with a distinctive New Zealand clothing brand to reflect their experiences whilst in New Zealand.

Wild Kiwi is a New Zealand owned company, operated by Trevor and Diana Connolly from the sunny Bay of Plenty.

Trevor Connolly: Is the head squawker, with a B.S.W degree from Massey University taking four years to pass psychology 101. Trevor a keen traveller laid the egg for Wild Kiwi back in 1998, when he noticed that he could not find any funky New Zealand inspired clothing to wear overseas or to give to friends as gifts.

Diana Connolly: Is the mother hen/ financial controller and keeps the ferrets away. Having a passion for the outdoors and tramping, Di trusts her Wild Kiwi gear on her expeditions into the New Zealand bush.

Tanya Cook: Has been with Wild Kiwi since it first hatched. Also from the Bay of Plenty, Tanya is a proud mother of two and is of Maori descent, her iwi being Ngai Te Rangi. She is the head embroiderer and warehouse manager.

Lesley Robb: Is our graphic artist and screen printer, she has a degree in Painting and Graphic Illustration from Waikato Institute of Technology. Lesley has travelled to over 30 countries and has a zest for New Zealand inspired design. Lesley enjoys all aspects of the great outdoors and has a Staffordshire terrier named Ziggy which is her pride and joy.

Casey Schwass: Is the newest member of our team. After having recently completed her degree in Design majoring in Fashion from Massey University, she moved back to her home town in the Bay of Plenty. As part of a large whanau from European and New Zealand Maori descent, Casey belongs to Ngati Rangitihi, Ngati Awa, Tuwharetoa ki Kawerau, Ngati Tama and Te Atiawa iwi’s. Casey’s passion for her heritage is reflected in her designs. 

The Wild Kiwi crew are dedicated to producing high quality clothing and outdoor wear. Because we are a small team we are able to provide great value for money. We enjoy what we do, working together and love this country.
